Organize Files v1.0
Introduction:
Organize Files is the perfect solution for disorganized people (like me, I admit). Its purpose is simple: to automatically organize large amounts of files into separate folders, saving you time and effort.

My Documents folder was a complete mess — over 5,000 files of all types accumulated over the years. Most of them I couldn’t even remember why they were there! That’s when I decided to spend a few hours creating a simple Python script. It sorted the files into folders based on their type, which not only helped me better understand what each item was but also made it much easier to organize or delete things I no longer needed.

While there are more robust software options out there, Organize Files focuses on simplicity. There's no need to waste time learning overly complex tools for such a straightforward task. This program gets straight to the point: with just a few clicks, most of the mess will be taken care of.

Spend your time gaming or watching anime, and let this friendly program handle the rest. 😊
Important Requeriments!
â–º When installing the program, there is a risk that Windows Defender or your antivirus software might flag it as a "Trojan" due to its file manipulation function during the process of moving files. Since this is an open-source program, you can review the entire system on my GitHub repository if you have any concerns.

â–º Caution!!! While the program is harmless, it is crucial to select the correct folder where you want the changes to take place. Moving files from the wrong folder can potentially cause issues with certain programs that depend on specific files being in their original locations. Additionally, it is highly recommended to create a backup of your original files before running the program. This ensures your files are preserved in case of any unexpected errors.
Step 1: Selecting the Path

The home screen of Organize Files features only a few buttons—just enough for the task at hand. Let me guide you step by step.

The first thing you need to do when the program opens is to specify the folder containing the files you want to organize. You can either manually type the path or click Search to locate it. Keep in mind that the program will move all files in this folder. For safety, it's highly recommended to create a backup of your files beforehand in case of any errors during execution.

We’ll use this folder filled with various file types as an example. After clicking Search, locate the folder, and the path will appear in the tool's input box.

Note: The path shown in the image below is just an example. Each path will vary depending on the location on your own machine.

Step 2: Select the organization mode
Our next step is to choose how we want to organize the files. Organize Files offers three options, and we will explain each one:

Type: This option organizes the files into folders named after their file type. For example, all files with the ".jpg" extension will be moved to a folder called "JPG", and files with the ".xlsx" extension will be moved to a folder called "XLSX". There is no limit to the types, as every file has a format, and it is based on this format that the program sorts the files.

Date: This option organizes the files based on their modification date. Files will be moved first into a folder named by the YEAR, and inside that folder, there will be subfolders for each MONTH. This is ideal for those who need to find files modified on a specific date.

ABC: This option organizes the files alphabetically. Files that start with the letter "A" will be moved to a folder named "A". (Files with numerical names will also be moved to folders labeled with their respective numbers.)

In the following example, we will use the first organization mode to see how the result will look.

If you did everything correctly, the result will look something like this. As you can see, the program separated all the files into folders that indicate the type of each one.

Thanks to the lightweight nature of Organize Files, it's possible to process thousands of files at once, quickly saving you hours of work—perfect for lazy people like me!!

And with that, we conclude this short tutorial. I hope this tool can be useful to you in some way.

See you next time! 😊
Final Considerations:

I’m disappointed in you, Senpai!!!
You’re using Organize Files completely for free, and you haven’t even shared it with your friends??? You didn’t subscribe to Cleitinho’s channel??? You haven’t even checked out his Patreon???
Look at him!!! A poor programmer who’s selling his lunch to buy dinner, and yet he still keeps smiling!!! So, if possible, stop buying Hentai games on Steam and help us with a few cents! That way, Cleitinho can keep developing more tools to make everyone’s life easier and won’t starve to death, okay? Baaaaaaka! :3
